Intel Launched a New Processor Called 'Ice Lake'

Can you imagine an insanely small computer processor? It turns out Intel has just launched their newest processor with ‘Ice Lake’ as the code name. The processor’s size is only 10-nanometer small—it’s 4-nanometer smaller than their previous processors. Intel has been hyping the processor ever since the beginning of the year, and people have been waiting for it. One thing for sure, Intel has not released any detail specification about the processor; what makes it special?

Intel stated that the 10th Generation of Intel Core is making a difference in the PC world. They revealed they have made big changes here and there, to make the processor much better. There are three sectors which Intel focused on for this processor. Intel is using AI for PC for the first time, a better and new graphics, as well as a much better Wi-Fi 6 (Gig+) connection. The Corporate Vice President and General Managers said that they are making an innovation in the PC and laptop industries.

It is reported that the processor will have 11 different types of chips; starting from low-end Core i3’s to quad-core Cote i7’s. It is reported the processor will be installed inside of computers anytime soon in the future. Some confirmed laptops are Acer Swift 5, Dell XPS 13-inch 2-in-1, HP Envy 13, and Lenovo S940. The company is planning to showcase the new processor during an electronics trade show IFA Berlin, which will be held on September.
