Influenza Attack, More than 228 Australians Died because of Flu

Australia - According to a data released by six Australian states and two regions, about 228 people died from the influenza and more than 100 thousand people were infected by this serious and deadly flu. This number increases compared to 2018 with 58,824 people were infected. However, authorities warn that the worst is still not happening as the spread of this virus is surprisingly very quick.

Chairman of the Australian Media Association's General Practice Council, Richard Kidd stated that, influenza that occurred in Australia was not like the common cold as they have had one of their worst seasons so far and expect the peak to occur between July and September this year.

The residents are also suggested to treat themselves to the hospital immediately if they have problems with breathing, chest pain or pain.
