I need a break, maybe over a year: Ed Sheeran

It is bad news for Ed Sheeran’s fans. After finishing the 2-year-long “Divide” tour, Ed Sheeran made a shocking announcement as he went on hiatus. The British musician announced as he closed the last show for the “Divide” tour at Chantry Park, Ipswich, Monday (26/8).

Wearing Framlingham Town FC tee, Ed stated the pride of his hometown, Suffolk, and thanked his people for “giving him a chance”.

Remembering the lengthy tour, Ed said that it would take him probably one year and a half to rest from the exhausting music-producing activities. Referring to the mammoth tour as his “biggest world tour ever”, the emotional Ed said that the ending of the tour was like “breaking up with his girlfriend”.

Besides the tour, Ed Sheeran also collaborated with other world-class musicians such as Cardi B, Camilla Cabello, Bruno Mars, Justin Bieber, and others on his fourth studio album “No. 6 Collaboration Projects” which was released in July 2019.
