House burns down, killing three people, possibly an elderly couple and their daughter.

In the early morning of the 25th, a house in Shiogama City, Miyagi Prefecture, burned down, killing three people. According to the police, they have been unable to contact the three people living in the house, an elderly couple and their daughter, and are working to confirm their identities.

At around 1:50 a.m. on the 25th, a passerby in Noda, Shiogama City called the fire department, saying, "I can see a fire on the second floor of the building.

Ten fire engines were dispatched to extinguish the fire, and the fire was extinguished about two and a half hours later, but a two-story wooden house was completely burned down.

Three people, a man and a woman, were rescued from the house and taken to the hospital, but all of them died.

According to the police, Mr. Tadashi Numata (79), his wife in her 70s, and his daughter in her 40s were living in the house, and after the fire, they could not be reached.

The police are investigating the cause of the fire as well as confirming their identities.
