Here’s Why YouTube Comment Section is Planned to be Disabled Soon

USA - According to XDA, YouTube is currently testing an Android feature that hide the comment section by default. YouTube conducts a trial to hide the 'comments' section when a new menu appears below the video being played, that the viewers can only see the video and the descriptions if they want to.

YouTube claimed that this decision is the right thing to do to protect the YouTube community itself.
Users can hide the comment section by tapping it, but at that point they may have read one or two comments. Depending on the content, this can reduce a person's mood, whether they are happy or affected by the contents.

Many users avoid the comment section completely and now YouTube is testing a feature that make the avoidance even easier. Many users watch YouTube videos on their smart phones, where accessing the comments section is as easy as scrolling far enough down the application and they can directly see many different comments.

'The comment has been moved' prompt in the application warns the users and the application will advise them to tap the new menu section to open comments. Separate buttons allow users to close the comment section as everything is placed in a way that is easily accessed by the user using one thumb and to make the users' mood even better.

It is informed by Slashgear that, YouTube's comment section is famous for its generally low-quality and terrible contents. People often will read users engage in fights with strangers, scammers occasionally peddle their 'junk', creators desperately ask for viewers, and trolls arouse drama with terrible comments that can lead to cyber bullying as well. This also the main reasons why YouTube decided to improve the application to make sure the users having pleasant time during using the application.
