Having a different basketball team choice, Drake was banned by radio station in US

Loving one particular club is normal for someone. But what if your love gives a bad effect for you? This is what Drake experienced.

The love of Canadian rapper to his favorite basketball team, Toronto Raptors, had a negative impact on his career. Because recently, KBLX radio station, based in the Bay Area, Berkeley, USA, has announced that they are prohibiting to play Drake's songs until NBA final match.

The reason is because this radio station has a different basketball team choice with Drake. KBLX provides support to the opposing team of Raptors, Golden State Warriors.

Quoted from Ace Showb, KBLX Program Director, Elroy Smith, said that the ban was necessary for the victory of the Warriors. He doesn't like Drake, who shows his love for the opposing team. Smith also say that he was sure that Warriors would bring NBA Championship to home this time.

Not only KBLX. Last month, Milwaukee-based radio station KISS FM already  banned Drake songs until the match between the Milwaukee Bucks-Raptors ended.

Drake had indeed received media attention because of his behavior during NBA Playoffs. Even Raptors must receive a warning to control him. Although he had been warned beforehand, he was still caught mocking the Warriors, Stephen Curry (II) and Draymond Green players, during the NBA Final 1 Match on 30 May.

Raptors currently lead 3-1 after winning Game 4 which took place on Saturday (8/6). There is still one more match to make sure that Raptors are NBA winners this season
