Nowadays, we live in the era of movies remake and reboot with much younger and alive and kickin’ actors or actresses who represent the roles. Robert Pattinson reportedly has been cast as the next Batman, Will Smith replaced Robin Williams as genie in Aladdin, and so on. On the other hand, Harrison Ford would not want to let this happen. The legendary fictional main character Indiana Jones was famously played by the one and only Harrison Ford, and he stated bluntly that no one could ever fill that role but him. He already played this role for four times on the big screen.
The new Indiana Jones movie is scheduled to be released on July 9, 2021 and Chris Pratt has been rumored to be playing this iconic character. However, in a recent interview, Ford stated that he is Indiana Jones. If he’s gone, than Indiana Jones is gone as well. He even apologized to Chris Pratt but hilariously ended up referring to another famous Chris, which is Chris Pine.
For the new movie of Indiana Jones, Harrison Ford is once again teaming up with director Steven Spielberg. Spielberg also stated that he thinks this fifth movie will be the last time Ford plays Indiana Jones.
