Gwyneth Paltrow Visits Japan for the Goop Beauty Brand Opening

Gwyneth Paltrow is seen in Japan to attend the opening of Goop beauty opening. The actress who played Pepper Potts in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, shared her arrival and where about in Japan. Goop is a brand founded by Paltrow back in 2008, and this year, they opened a pop-up store in April. Paltrow is in Japan to attend the launching party of Goop.


Goop itself is a web-based company, but now it is expanding to other areas, such as clothes, beauty, and food. Founded in 2008, Goop was a weekly email newsletter at first. However, it suddenly grew to have pop-up shops, wellness summit, print magazine, podcast, and also a documentary series that will be available on Netflix. Now that they have expanded to other areas, Goop has become a lifestyle brand.


The launch party of Goop in Japan was held at Palazzo Ducale Azabu which is located in Tokyo’s Minato Ward. The launch party itself was held earlier this month. In the pop-up store, Goop sells clothing, beauty products, and there is also a café inside of it. The café served a range of food, which includes vegan meals like salads, soups, and sandwiches.


Although Goop is opening the pop-up store in Japan, it is still not confirmed whether they are going to open a permanent store or not. However, people can still go to the pop-up store until May 26th.
