GrabHealth, a 'healthy' collaboration between Grab and Good Doctor

On Tuesday, Grab Indonesia launched GrabHealth, an e-healthcare service collaboration between Grab Indonesia and Good Doctor Technology Indonesia (GDTI). With GrabHealth, Indonesians now can access better e-healthcare services, especially those who were hindered by distance or cost.

The President of Grab Indonesia, Ridzki Kramadibrata, hoped that GrabHealth would ease the access of e-healthcare for the Indonesian people for better quality e-healthcare services. It is a mission included in the “Grab for Good” missions, where the service promises to contribute to the improvement of all aspects of the Indonesian society.

Thanks to Grab’s coverage in 224 cities in Indonesia, GrabHealth can reach out to the Indonesian people in the cities. As a matter of fact, Indonesia is the first market of GrabHealth in ASEAN.

Medical care is included within the human rights of the Indonesian people as listed in the 1945 Constitution (UUD 1945), article 28 H verse 1.

However, according to the Head of Medical Management of Good Doctor Technology Indonesia, Dr. Adhiatma Gunawan, good medical care is still a challenge in the nation. Therefore, cooperating with Grab Indonesia, Dr. Adhiatma hoped that it will become the solution to the problem.

Dr. Adhiatma said that GrabHealth’s vision is “One Doctor, One Family”, meaning that through GrabHealth, it is as if a family owns their own personal doctor.

Moreover, the doctors registered in GrabHealth had been verified by the Indonesian Doctors Association (IDI); hence, people don’t have to worry about their credibility. Not only doctors but also GrabHealth covers more than 300 licensed drug store partners.

Here are the top four features on GrabHealth:

1. Medical consultation.
The users can consult or ask about their medical conditions to the verified doctors through online live chat, voice call, or video call.

2. Buying medicines or medical products.
GrabHealth covers more than 300 drug store partners. Therefore, this e-commerce feature allows users to buy medicine prescribed by doctors. It is even doable through Grab application, and of course, Grab riders will deliver the medicine right into your hand.

3. Making an appointment.
If the online consultation is not enough, the users can also make a face-to-face appointment with the doctors. GrabHealth automatically schedules your face-to-face appointment on the platform.

4. Healthy content.
An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. GrabHealth provides educative content in the form of articles or videos about healthy lifestyles and wellness curated by the doctors.
