Finance Minister transfers Rp93 trillion of DBH
Speaking on a virtual meeting with Regional Representatives Council (DPD), Indonesia's Finance Minister, Sri Mulyani Indrawati, stated that the government has divided revenue-sharing fund (DBH), amounted to Rp93.54 trillion, on 5 November 2020. The amount is Rp7.12 trillion or 108.2% bigger than the initial ceiling of Rp86.42 trillion in the 2020 State Budget.
Furthermore, Sri Mulyani stated that the DBH's realization could be earmarked such as tax DBH amounted to Rp28.98 trillion or 64.6% of Rp44.88 trillion ceiling and forestry and reforestation DBH at Rp25 trillion or 86.1% of Rp29.04 trillion ceiling. In other words, the amount paid will be higher than estimated. The underpayment DBH is allocated at Rp39.56 trillion, 316.4% higher than the Rp12.5 trillion ceiling.
Meanwhile, duty DBH reaches Rp2.66 trillion or 80.82% from Rp3.29 trillion ceiling, allocated to National Economic Recovery (PEN) plans, such as Rp1.14 trillion for healthcare, Rp182.83 billion for the improvement of raw material's quality, Rp64.06 billion for labour, and Rp42.25 billion for the empowerment of local economy.
While giving an overestimated DBH, Sri Mulyani does not want the fund to be kept in the regional government's account only. Therefore, she urges that the fund could be immediately used to revive the regional economy.
On the other hand, the State Treasury tabulated the realization of the General Allocation Fund (DAU) reached Rp351.1 trillion or 91.4% of Rp384.38 trillion ceiling, consisting of formula DAU of Rp347.87 trillion and additional DAU of Rp3.43 trillion. Meanwhile, the physical Special Allocation Fund (DAK) is realized at Rp50.2 trillion or 93.3% of Rp53.8 trillion ceiling. DAK is used to build classrooms, labs, and other infrastructure, from education to transportation.
