Fiji Airways and JAL to codeshare

Fiji Airways has signed a codeshare agreement with Japan Airlines. Under the deal, Japan Airlines will offer almost daily flights between Nadi (NAN) and Tokyo Narita (NRT), with two direct services and options via other Asian gateways Singapore (SIN), and Hong Kong (HKG), utilizing the JL designator code on flights operated by Fiji Airways.

 Japan Airlines is a fully-fledged member of oneworld while Fiji Airways is a member of the oneworld connect program.

Andre Viljoen, Fiji Airways Managing Director & CEO, said, “We’re delighted to add our fifth oneworld airline to our global network as a highly valued codeshare partner. We look forward to working with our friends from Japan Airlines to bring more of their customers to Fiji, one of the world’s most sought after travel destinations as well as the wider South Pacific.”

Once regulatory approvals are obtained, tickets will be progressively made available for sale through various booking channels.
