First selection for the A team...Hiroshima's 23-year-old midfielder attracts attention! 

Kawamura, a graduate of the Hiroshima youth team, was promoted to the first team in 2006. Kawamura was promoted to the first team in 2006, and after a loan spell with Ehime FC from the end of that season to 2009, he returned to Hiroshima for the 2010 season. Last season, he scored his first J1 goal against Kashima Antlers in the 24th round, and was named the league's Goal of the Year in the 28th round against Shimizu S-Pulse with a long shot of about 60 meters.  

He has scored three goals in 17 league games so far this season, and was selected as one of the 26 members of Japan's national team for the Kirin Challenge Cup in June, which was announced on May 25, his first call-up to the A team.

 While participating in national team activities in Japan on June 12, the official J-League Twitter uploaded a video of Kawamura playing. The video showed Kawamura as "a midfielder who adds variety to the attack," and fans commented, "He has plenty of potential," "Big and powerful! A valuable lefty," "He looks like Özil," and "Great expectations! He's like Özil," and "Great expectations!  

Will he be able to show his ability in the match against El Salvador on the 15th of this month?
