End of anime? Yamakan leave animation industry

The shocking news came from the anime industry, Japanese animation that had many interested people in various countries. Yutaka Yamamoto aka Yamakan, who is the figure behind the famous anime Haruhi Suzumiya, Lucky Star, and Wake Up, Girls! decided to retire from the anime industry.

Through recognition on his blog, the decision to leave the anime industry was taken after the inaugural Hakubo (Twilight) anime. At that time, he was not satisfied with the premier program. Because of this, he decided to postpone the release schedule the anime. After the incident, he apologized to the parties who participated in making the anime. He also felt that even though he had been involved in the anime industry for 21 years, now Yamakan felt that from the start he was actually not suitable for making anime

Previously, Yamakan was quite often making sensations with his comments and behavior. Starting from saying that the anime is dead, bragging will retire from the anime industry in a bad way, until the late release schedule of his latest work, Hakubo (Twilight).

In his conversation with former staff of Gainax and cultural commentator Toshio Okada aka Otaking in July last year, he himself admitted that he preferred to work with his own rules. However, he actually gets criticized every time he does it.

Even so, Yamakan ensures that he will still work hard to perfect the Hakubo (Twilight) anime. He promised to fulfill the deadline on June 21, 2019. At that time the anime will be released throughout Japan.
