Dozens of Visitors Injured Due to the Big Explosions at Florida Mall

Florida, USA - It is reported that, on Saturday (7/6), a massive explosion hit a shopping and culinary center in the city of Plantation, Florida, United States. Local police reported that, so far the number of victims injured that has been recorded around 22 people and currently being treated in several hospitals.

The explosion was reportedly occurred around 11:30 local time as several local residents told the WPLG television channel that they felt and heard a loud explosion even though they were quite far from the location.

According to drone broadcast on CNN.com, almost one part of the building in the area about three-quarters were destroyed until the roof and lots of debris strewn out of the mall.

Joel Gordon, Head of the Plantation Fire Department, said he had not been able to confirm the cause and source of the explosion. However, his side saw a broken gas in the middle of the ruins of the building.

It is informed that, fire teams and paramedics were there to help. The police have also carried out regional security sterilization and several shops and business premises around the mall called Plaza Fountains have been asked to close until the undetermined time for further investigation and safety.
