Donald Trump Returns to White House
US President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump
were tested positive for covid-19. The news about it came from the president
himself, who said on Twitter that he and the first lady had tested positive for
covid-19.
The news about Donald Trump catching covid-19 has
dragged the country into uncertainty. The United States has been suffering
enormously from the covid-19 pandemic. The pandemic itself has claimed over 200.000
lives in the United States.
President Trump is known to have always been
underestimating covid-19 pandemic. However, upon being infected by covid-19, he
announced that he was going to self-quarantine in the White House for a period.
Apart from the president, Hope Hicks had also been
tested positive for the virus. Hicks is the president’s close adviser.
President Trump was known to end his self-quarantine
period in the White House for treatment at the Walter Reed National Military
Medical Centre. However, recently he was discharged from treatment and returned
to the White House.
Again, he made controversial remarks about the
covid-19 pandemic, asking all Americans not to be afraid of the virus. This
statement led to him being criticized for his attitude toward covid-19, while statistics
show a surge in mortality rate, reaching 210.000.
Trump’s medical team is unclear about the president’s
current medical state. Presidential aides at the same time were busy presenting
images of the president as a strong leader who triumphantly went back to the
White House to resume his duties.
