Don't get tricked! 'Perineum sunning' is dangerous: Study

It is a current trend to expose your vital area (perineum) to the scorching sun. The activity has its own scientific name: Perineum sunning. Claimed to boost your sexual appetite, the scientists warned the danger behind the absurd trend, especially for the skin.

Perineum sunning went viral when a female influencer from California, United States (U.S), Metaphysical Meagan, showed that she was exposing the area between her “behind” and her sexual organ to the sun and said that it did benefit medically such as regulating hormones and better sleep patterns.

The practice can be traced back to the ancient Tao era, where the ancient Chinese people bathed their sensitive organs in the sun.

However, regarding the medical properties of the activity, even the scientists were baffled. Instead, they pointed out that perineum sunning does nothing to one’s physical welfare. Instead of welfare, your skin might be at risk.

A renowned actor famous for playing Thanos and Cable characters in the MCU, Josh Brolin, tried it out and immediately regretted it as he felt that his anus was burned.

Dermatologists warned that exposing the rarely-exposed area of your body to the sun often triggers various reactions. In Brolin’s case, sunburn. Even worse, there was a possibility that forcing the area to be bathed under the sun might result in skin cancer, especially the skin on the perineum areas.

As a friendly warning, the dermatologist warned that the perineum with skin cancer is harder to detect because people don’t “regularly” view these areas.
