Don't Forget to Visit Ganesya Museum When You're in Malang

Malang is known for its interesting places worth to visit. This year, a new museum is opened in the city. The museum called Ganesya museum and it was opened only about a month ago, on June 5. The museum, which located in the area of Hawai Water Park (and owned by Hawai Group), is always full of people ever since the opening. There are plentiful things to see and learn inside the place.

Ganesya is actually an abbreviation that stands for Gelar Indonesia Budaya (Indonesia’s Culture Exhibition). Many artifacts are seen inside the museum, but the presentation is quite unique because the story for each artifact is attractive and communicative. Not only for leaning the history, people used some spots to take pictures as well, which means the museum is designed aesthetically. Ganesya museum has artifacts which were found between the eras of Majapahit and the Islam deployment in Java.

On Friday, June 12, the Ministry of Education and Culture went to Ganesya museum to inaugurate it. The representative of ministry hopes that Ganesya will be the go-to place for students to visit, in order to learn more about history. Moreover, he also thanked the Hawai Group for building the museum.

The owner of Ganesya museum Yogie Kurniawan revealed there are a few intentions of him building the museum. He hopes the museum will become a place where youths can learn about the history, so in the end, they will be willing to help developing the Nusantara culture.
