Confused about the federation, "Why?" Mr. Edano and Mr. Tamaki explained separately.
On the 12th, the
representative of the Constitutional Democratic Party Yukio Edano and the
representative of the National Democratic Party Yuichiro Tamaki visited the
coalition and reported the progress of the joint talks to Chairman Kisei Sato.
Mr. Tamaki confused about why he had split up the people and expressed his
intention not to join the new party joining the constitution.
Mr. Tamaki had
an interview with Mr. Kozu for about 30 minutes and announced his intention to
split the party. After the meeting, in response to an interview with the
reporters, he said that it was difficult for the party as a whole to meet with
the constitution, saying "it is necessary to agree on the policy
philosophy." He reiterated the idea of consulting
the policy of the split party at the general assembly of both Houses on the
19th, saying that "we will make another saucer" for the members who
do not join.
The coalition
has encouraged the union of both parties. Prior to the meeting with the two
representatives, Kozu told reporters, "I don't really know why (about the
branch party) that would happen." However, according to Tamaki, Mr. Kozu
said at the meeting that he just said, "I want you to show me exactly what
was decided" and did not explicitly oppose it.
On the other
hand, Mr. Edano also told reporters about the split party after the meeting,
"I would like to have as many people as possible fight with each
other." Regarding the party talks that Mr. Tamaki had sought, he stated
that "the secretary-general and the chairpersons of the political affairs
have packed up to this point. In terms of having as wide a range of people as
possible, the parties are completely in agreement".
