Canadian English Teacher was Filmed Hitting a 2-year-old At a Daycare

TOKYO - A Canadian English teacher is suspended after being filmed when hitting a 2-year-old toddler. Numbers of disturbing accounts of teachers hitting students are heard quite frequently and it happened again this week.

At an unlicensed daycare, there is an native speaker English teacher from Canada. However, he was filmed when hitting on a student, just because that student was rolling around and tugging on another child’s shirt on the floor. Seeing how the boy behaved, the teacher went to the certain boy and kicked him in the lower part of his body. The boy cried, but nothing happened unless a chat in a group of parents. The incident happened in different days which are on February and March this year, it was not being talked about until May 14.

The videos were leaked to the internet and it immediately became a huge topic in Japan. Not only hitting a boy, but the teacher also seen dragged children off play equipment by collar. Not stopping there, he also thrust books into children’s mouths. The videos were filmed on different days by a person, after seeing how he behave for quite a long time.

City officials revealed that a resident has reported the teacher after seeing how he handles kids on April. However, the daycare denied all the speculations. Luckily, the teacher is now suspended and the case is still rolling on.
