BTS become the first Korean group to perform at Wembley Stadium, landmark for top artists

On Saturday, the Wembley Stadium turned into a sea of Army (BTS fandom name), as BTS started their European “LOVE YOURSELF: SPEAK YOURSELF” tour at The Three Lions’ home stadium. 

The stadium is not only for football matches but also well known as a landmark venue for top class musicians, including Michael Jackson and Queen have performed at the iconic stage. BTS created history by becoming the first group from South Korea to have stage at the venue.

The Saturday concert was running for two hours and 40 minutes. In front of 90,000 ARMY, who came from Italy, Spain, Portugal, Germany and Lithuania on top of Britain, BTS started the concert with “Dionysus” as the opening song. They also performed their most popular song such as “Boy With Luv”, “FAKE LOVE”, and “Dope”. 

After the performance, the seven member of BTS, Jin, Suga, J-hope, RM, Jimin, V and Jungkook, held a press conference, expressing their wish to collaborate with British musicians.

V said that he loved Coldplay and hoped to work with them in the future.

While RM mentioned he went to Paul McCartney's concert a few months ago with J-hope, they hope to have a collaboration with him.  

After the second day concert at Wembley, BTS will continue its tour in Paris at the Stade de France in Saint Denis for two days, Friday and Saturday.

With its style of music, BTS career is sky rocketing, gaining a lot of attention from people around the world. Recently, BTS also work together with UNICEF to promote LOVE MYSELF campaign.
