Being targeted by International Court of Justice, Duterte: That's stupid

Philippine President, Rodrigo Duterte is currently being target of criticism for a massive operation to eradicate drugs that he echoes. The operation is said to have killed nearly 27 thousand people without a clear judicial process.
The International Court of Justice then began an investigation into Duterte with alleged extrajudicial massacres in the Philippine drug war.

In response to the investigation, from interview with a celebrity pastor, Duterte said that Philippine justice system had worked well. So, he considered that investigations carried out by the ICC were stupid.
So, he only wanted to face a trial in the Philippines. Led by a Filipino judge and prosecuted by Filipinos. The 74-year-old man stated that he would never be tried at international court for the mass killings that occurred during the war on drugs which he announced in 2016.

Whereas previously Duterte had admitted that what the Philippines had done was extrajudicial killings. He even said he was ready to be tried at the International Criminal Court in The Hague. However, when ICC began their initial investigation in February 2018, Duterte ordered police not to cooperate with them. Not only that, Duterte even directly attracted Philippines from the ICC membership. However, ICC said that they would continue to carry out investigations against Philippines.

Despite getting a lot of criticism from internationally, Duterte will continue to carry out drug eradication operations. He said that he didn't care if anyone liked it or not, because he would finish what he had started.
