China - According to the source, on Thursday (30/5) China blamed the United States for having done "economic terrorism", following the increasingly fierce relationship between trading wars between these two powerful countries.

The accusation was mentioned by Deputy Foreign Minister Zhang Hanhui while holding a press conference regarding the visit of Chinese President Xi Jinping to Russia next week. Zhang stated that, they are fighting the trading war, but they are not afraid and that the planned incitement of this trade war was clearly economic terrorism, economic chauvinism and economic intimidation. He also said that, there is no winner in a trading war.

China then fought back by raising its own tariffs, although they are aware that the conflict with the US could have a negative impact on global economic development. Hanhui stated, as quoted by the AFP news agency that, one of the reasons of Xi Jinping's visit to Russia is to strengthen economic and trade cooperation, because the two countries shared similar views on trading war, including cooperation in various fields such as economics and investment.

However, the talk to end trading war disputes between the two countries collapsed earlier this month, with negotiations deadlock between the two sides. The US demanded that China change its policies to address a number of major US complaints, including theft of intellectual property and subsidies for state companies.
