Nowadays, having 2 or more jobs in your pocket is one of the best ways to keep your income flowing. Not only is it challenging but also it offers possibilities and skill development compared to only possessing a single job. But, the question is, how to keep our first, second, and/or third job going without having to lose ourselves in the progress? Then, we are here to break it down for you, the secret to enduring through it all.

First, before having a secondary or tertiary job, make sure that it has more than a minimum wage. If you are sure that you have certain skills, look for a more promising second job that will secure your income flow. Freelance is also recommended when it comes to additional job hunting when you already have a full-time job.

Second, when you already get an additional job, do not forget to manage yourselves. People having more than 1 job often find it hard to control time and in the end, they lose all the jobs they have. Surely, you do not want to work yourselves to death, right? Schedule your job, how it might fit each other in your daily activity without hindering your main job. Also, never forget to rest and to manage time for your social life. As they say, work hard, play hard, so you need to balance both work life and social life to keep your sense in check.

Lastly, keep in mind what you are aiming for when applying for more than 1 job. Is it to start your own business? To pay student loans? Or to gain more for your leisure? They are still considered as goals. When you have got an amount of money or experience you need, of course, you want to immediately start your business or looking for a full-time job with a more promising future. In other words, many people do not want to keep their additional job(s) forever.

In brief, we are all want to finish our career strong. Therefore, freelancing while doing a full-time job is not uncommon, instead, it is recommended if you want to hone your skills without and getting paid at the same time. But, just keep in mind, things go wrong when you let your additional job hinder your full-time commitment.
