Scientist/Presenter/Engineer, Bill Nye, warned the world in strident tone about global warming (Image via: ScienceAlert)

Bill Nye: “Our Planet Is on *BEEP* Fire!”

Global warming is a long term world issue. Starting since the revolution in industrialization in 18th to 19th century, the world is getting ever hotter, not in a good way. Iceberg melting as the result of the sun’s radiation which gets more intense as the ozone layer that protects the earth from the radiation is now covered in holes, and the planet is in the brink of maybe the hottest millennium in the history of human civilization.

As the prophets once warned Israelites to turn back to their Gods but ended to their deaf ears, many scientists have tried to warn the world of the effects of climate change, but the world seems to doubt the realness of the threat.

One of them was Bill Nye, an engineer/presenter/scientist. He is the host of the PBS program “Bill Nye the Science Guy”. Yesterday (14/5), he went on a rant about how ignorant is the world concerning the global warming in “Last Week Tonight with John Oliver”.

While he cheerfully described with demonstration (like he usually does on TV) the effect of population on Earth’s condition, he did not bar any barrels when it comes to the global warming.

Scientists are known for their modesty and eloquence of words. However, we know that the world is more or less screwed when a nice guy like Bill Nye inserted an “ R-rated profanity” (f******) to describe how hot our planet currently is.

Nye was quite in an uproar as he claimed that the world leaders are already an adult, and if they know what to do, they should do it now. Or never. The next Nye’s rant is filled with so many profanities, the whole statement would be a series of censorings with less words.

This is not the first time Nye ever went banana about global warming. Ask Tucker Carlson, a Fox News’ political commentator who once went toe-to-toe against Bill Nye to argue about the realness of the threats of global warming. Bill Nye even spoke to Bernie Sanders, a candidate for 2016 presidential election, regarding the effect of global warming.

The highlight went to how Bill Nye described the danger with profanities. It might mean that the world – more or less – has to pay a very careful attention to the climate change.
