Apple Employees Getting Apple Credit Cards, What’s Behind This Limited Trial?

California, USA - One of the biggest American mobile phone companies, Apple is planning to launch a unique Apple credit card for its users and the official credit card pictures were leaked last week. Benjamin Geskin has seen and shared the pictures even though the credit card design and prototype were supposedly only known by the Apple employees (semi-private) with censoring his name in the credit card pictures.

It was reported that the user must activate the credit card through an NFC tag in the card package to make sure the card is ready to use. The user must bring the NFC card pack closer together while activating the Apple Wallet application to make the process easier.

All you have to do is when the application is opened, move the phone closer to the NFC tag on the package. Then the credit card and application are ready to use. Installing this credit card is similar and as easy as pairing an Apple AirPod to an iPhone.

Curious about what this Apple credit card looks like? The front of the card only contains the user name, chip, and Apple logo. The back of the card are the Mastercard logo and Goldman Sachs as the credit card service partners. What makes it unique is that this Apple credit card is made of titanium and carved with a username in the metal part. Unlike most credit cards, these metal cards do not have other identities printed on the card, such as card numbers, card expiration dates, and CCV codes, as reported by Mac Rumors which is very simple and elegant.

Also, what makes it even more profitable,  that this card did not charge fees, such as late fees and foreign currency exchange fees. The interest fee charged is between 13-24 percent depending on one's credit level as mentioned by Apple in the beginning. Apple has a plan that most Apple Card transactions occur electronically as Apple provides a one percent cashback program if the transaction uses a physical card, three percent for Apple product purchases, and two percent for payments using Apple Pay.

Are you looking forward to get your own Apple credit card for your transactions?
