Animal Activists Charged for Assaulting Butcher

PARIS - If you love something or someone, you can do anything for it. But, do not cross the line. Take an example from the animal activists. They are willing to cross over the line just to prove their allegiance to the freedom and welfare for animal life. Tracing the definition of animal activists, they are people who struggle for justice for the animal and upholding freedom and rights for animals. That means no animal testing, animal cruelty, or any mistreatment toward the animal.

A butcher at Saint Quentin market, Paris, France, had to understand this fact the hard way. On Saturday (4/5) As he was preparing orders for his customer, he felt something wet hit his head, and when he checked it out, it was a bright, thick red liquid. Upon looking up, about 15-20 people had gathered in front of his stall, protesting and “assuming” that the butcher had deprived rights from the animal.

The two activists who threw the red liquid were later apprehended by the police, and to be charged for their assault to the poor butcher, Monday (6/5).

This was not the first case of animal activists’ assault in the country. Just last month, two vegan activists were charged for assaulting butchers, restaurants, and meat-selling places.

In recent months, France is experiencing, maybe, the most “annoying” months, since these animal activists who object to speciesism are getting bolder by vandalizing shops, restaurants, and those who disagree with their opinion about meat.
