America is ripped through by over 200 tornadoes in a week

Since 17 May, 225 tornadoes have been confirmed and 500 tornadoes over the course of the north have been reported. It’s been a really tough month for millions of Americans to accept the fact that the tornadoes have torn through the heart of the country.

The National Weather Service warned of a severe thunderstorm, hail and tornadoes are possible from the Ohio Valley to the Mid-Atlantic States. In total, 34 million people from Texas to New Jersey have been placed under the warning.

One person died and at least 90 people got injured from the tornadoes that barreled through Ohio and Indiana. An 81-year-old man was killed in his house when a parked car was blown into his house. Jeffrey l, the mayor of Celina stated that the area truly looks like a war zone. Furthermore, a state of emergency has been declared by the governor of Ohio, Mike DeWine.

In Kansas, a dozen people were taken to the hospital after a tornado smashed the home of the University of Kansas. Over 15,000 people were left without electricity in Douglas and Johnson. Moreover, the Kansas City International airport was shut down on Tuesday.
