Hollywood, USA - According to the Hollywood Reporter recently, the director of the film 'The Amazing Spider-Man' Marc Webb was said to be being targeted by Disney to work on their latest live action film, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. Apparently, The Snow White Project has already planned since 2016. At that time, the author of The Girl on the Train, Erin Cresside was appointed to work on the fairy tale script.

In addition to targeting this 'The Amazing Spider-Man' director, the film is also reported to have appointed Benj Pasek and Justin Paul to work on songs on 'Snow White' live action later. Pasek and Paul are the musicians behind the songs of the Oscar-winning film La La Land.

The name Webb began to rise in Hollywood after working on 500 Days of Summer, starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Zooey Deschanel in 2009. Afterwards, he was trusted by Sony Pictures to work on The Amazing Spider-Man and The Amazing Spider-Man 2 with Andrew Garfield.

The Hollywood Reporter mentioned the story of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs first appeared on the big screen in 1937. The story based on a fairy tale by the Brothers Grimm managed to get great success and won an Oscar at the 11th Academy Awards.
