A warehouse in California got crashed by a fighter jet

A large hole in the roof of a warehouse 65 miles east Lost Angeles was showed in many television news. The cause of the great hole is an F-16 fighter jet which crashed on Thursday outside March Air reserve base in California.

The pilot was not hurt, he ejected moments before the fighter jet crashed. And according to the director of public affairs at the base, Maj Perry Covington there were no serious injuries and the cause of the crash was under investigation.

A warehouse worker, Daniel Gallegos said he was used to hearing the sound of planes coming and go, however, the sound of the jet crash was deafening. Gallegos heard a sound of an explosion and decided to turn around to the back of the warehouse and he saw flames and the ceiling started to fall through every part of the building. Gallegos also believed that one of his co-workers was struck by a fire sprinkler but wasn’t a serious injury.

The pilot was trying to land following a routine training. However, he had some hydraulic problems and started to lose control, said Timothy Holliday, the base’s deputy fire chief. The jet fighter is assigned to the air national guard for carrying standard armaments, he added.
