A disabled dog rescued baby buried alive in Thailand

A baby boy who had been buried alive by his 15-year-old mother in north-east Thailand, has been rescued by a disabled dong named Ping Pong.

According to Ping Pong’s owner, on Wednesday the dog’s sniffing and digging attracted the attention of farmers to a spot of ground in Ban Ning Kham village. Ping Pong’s digging exposed the baby’s legs, prompting locals to bring the baby to safety.

The teenage mother, who has not been named, confessed to burying her baby because she feared that her parents would find out she had been pregnant. Lieutenant colonel Panuwat Puttakan of Cham Phuang police said that the girl is in a great fear and now is in the care of a psychologist and her parents. Moreover, the police were obliged to charge the girl with attempted murder.

Ping Pong, the six year-old dog who only has use of three of his legs is raised by Usa Nisaika, 41. Nisaika raised Ping Pong from birth and said that he was a very good boy. Ping Pong got hit by a car so he’s disabled. But Nisaika decided to keep Ping Pong because he is obedient and loyal. Ping Pong is loved by the entire village.
