38.4% of Chinese are against South Korea, 13.9% favorable...sentiment toward the U.S. and Japan.

     On the other hand, 2.1% of the respondents answered "very favorable" and 11.8% answered "somewhat favorable. The "neither" response was 47.6%.  Compared to the other countries, the U.S. (59.1%), Japan (57.5%), and India (50.6%) had a "somewhat or very much against" response rate, followed by South Korea. The European Union (EU), Southeast Asia, and Russia accounted for 24.9%, 20.2%, and 7.8%, respectively.  Russia was by far the most favorably (19%) and somewhat favorably (39.4%) perceived by the Chinese toward countries other than South Korea.  

When asked about Korea's influence on China's security, 6.1% of respondents answered "very much" and 17.2% answered "somewhat". In contrast, 17.8% said it was "somewhat small" and 11.4% said it was "small." Overall, most respondents indicated that the impact would be small.  The survey was conducted online among 2,662 Chinese adults.
