After announcing their 4th single released on August 21, 2019, member 22/7 Sally Amaki announces that she will be on hiatus and take a break from all her activities as a member of the idol group. She will miss the Handshake Event, High Touch Event, Meet & Greet, and other events.

In her official blog, Sally said that the reason was because of health problems. She said that she had social anxiety disorders since joining 22/7. Since then, her activity has always been monitored by doctors. She apologized to the fans and asked for their support so that she could recover soon and be able to return to work with members 22/7.

Sally Amaki is known as one of the idols in Japan. Unlike most idols who always give a cute and cool impression, Sally always displays a funny and cheerful impression. The girl who born in Los Angeles, California often makes a vlog showing her speaking in English with her valley girl dialect. Her style of speech that is too casual makes fans feel more like friends who share the same hobbies and interests, not with their idols.

She also often entertains her fans by making jokes in the form of memes or shitpost on her social media. Although several times the management of 22/7 reprimanded her cause her posts were considered inappropriate, Sally didn’t immediately obey. She instead looked for a loophole to be able to fulfill her desire as a contemporary internet artist.

Therefore, Sally's decision to go on hiatus because of having Social Anxiety Disorder certainly surprised her fans. Many feel sympathy and give their support to Sally to be able to recover quickly and move back as a member 22/7.
