2 Suspects of Church Bombing in Cairo Received Severe Punishment of Death Sentences

Cairo, Egypt - The emergency security court eventually sencented a death punishment to the prime suspect of the church bombing in Cairo, Egypt, who is in the prison and another suspect who is still at large on Monday (5/13). The Egyptian court also agreed to sentence two suspects to death for a church attack and a Christian-owned shop in Cairo. However, the eight other suspects were sentenced between three years to life imprisonment as the ones who killed 10 people in 2017 with a massive attack.

The man who was equipped with the weapon also injured as the result of the attack by ISIS as the authorities mentioned. It was reported that on November 2017, the suspected ISIS militants killed more than 300 Muslims with weapons and bomb attacks in a mosque on the Sinai Peninsula.

It is reported that in April 2018, 36 suspects received death sentences for a church bombing by the militart court as the results of their actions. The Egyptian Coptic Christians, who make up 10 percent of Egypt's population, have been targeted by militants in recent years and need to be more careful during the day even during the worship with a hope that this situation will not happen in the future again.
