11 Companies are Ready to go to the Moon with NASA

USA - The Director for the Moon's human exploration program, Marshall Smith, as quoted from NASA's official website stated that, their team is excited to return to the Moon as soon as possible and our public partnership is to study the human landing system, which is an important step in the process. The United States Space Agency (NASA) has selected 11 companies that will become partners for this  human landing mission to the Moon.

The eleven companies mentioned are Aerojet Rocketdyne, Blue Origin, Boeing, Dynetics, Lockheed Martin, Masten Space Systems, OrbitBeyond, Northrop Grumman Innovation Systems, Sierra Nevada Corporation, SpaceX, and SSL.

Through the Next Space Technologies for Exploration Partnerships (NextSTEP) contract, 11 companies will develop a human landing prototype for the next six months. The prototype was made to see the element of reduction, displacement and refueling of a potential human landing system.

This appointment is part of Artemis's lunar exploration mission. The program will also bring the first US female astronaut and other male astronauts to land at the Moon's South Pole in 2024 and begin a continuing mission in 2028.

The announcement of the appointment of 11 companies at the same time answered the challenge of US President Donald Trump to bring humanity back to the Moon in 2024. From the budget obtained, NASA allocated US $ 1 billion to develop a system that allows humans to travel to the Moon.

So far, NASA has spent at least US $ 11.9 billion to develop a system that is scheduled to be ready for future missions. NASA also provided a number of proposals to transport astronauts from the Moon's surface, the 'climbing' element to the path to bring it back to Earth.
