“John Wick 3” Snaps “Avengers:Endgame”

“John Wick 3” just snapped “Avengers: Endgame” to dust. At least, that is in North American box office. Just today, the film just toppled “Avengers:Endgame” from the top position with US$ 57 million in its opening weekend. The number exceeded everyone’s expectations and it exceeded far from the first and the second film.

While everyone’s attention goes to “Avengers:Endgame” still, on the way to beating James Cameron’s Avatar to be the most grossing film in the history, “John Wick 3: Parabellum” made its way to “assassinate” Thanos and co, after the opening weekend shows that Wick defeated Thanos by US$ 28 million margin.

The film received a warm welcome from its lovers, especially people who watched the first and the second installment of the film. The film got an A+ on CinemaScope, and a certified 89% “Fresh” on the Rotten Tomatoes. Keanu Reeves – as John Wick -- received many applause for his act and smooth choreography that connects and seems natural.

Also with the help of widespread meme (where John Wick is shown willing to kill just because he loves his dog), the audience grew eager to watch the movie.

Stahelski actually should be thankful for Indonesia. Putting two Indonesian “pencak silat” choreographer: Cecep Arif Rahman and Yayan Ruhian was proven to be a magic. The two acted as opponents for the violent John Wick. Rising under limelight, both of the choreographer showed a remarkable act in The Raid franchise. Afterwards, the two hailed many contracts from both domestic and Hollywood movies. Indonesian people surely is hanging on the edge of their seats, watching their compatriot fight merciless, violent John Wick.
