難問「日本の虫歯はどこ?」 総裁選3候補の答えは三者三様

"Where is the cavity of Japan?" Three Candidates for new PM of Japan answered the Conondrum

Chief Cabinet Secretary Yoshihide Suga (71), Fumio Kishida (63), Shigeru Ishiba (63), and former secretary-general (63), announced that they would stand for the LDP presidential election (notice on the 8th, voting on the 14th). There were occasions when people were asked about "cavities." The answer was three-way.

It started when Mr. Ishiba visited the dentist's office in the Diet for a regular medical examination on the morning of the same day. When the reporters asked, "Where is Japan's tooth decay?"

Meanwhile, Mr. Kishida happened to visit the Nippon Dental University Hospital in Tokyo, where he was having a hard time fighting against the new coronavirus. It is a hospital with dentistry. When reporters hit the same question as "where is the cavity?", they pointed out "economic disparity and home country first principle", and seriously said "to have a new growth engine and promote regional revitalization by digitization" as a countermeasure accepted.

When he was asked this question at a regular press conference, Mr. Kan said, "I don't think it's a problem for me to comment on," he said casually.
