Liverpool's Virgil van Dijk and Andy Robertson believe their teamwork and fans are the key of the success

'Liverpool are here to stay': Andy Robertson promises they will be back to fight City in the next season

LONDON - Andy Robertson, Liverpool’s defender, declares that they are determined to stay together until they get the Premier League’s trophy. Robertson is sure Liverpool’s key players will stay for long term at Anfield and keep going ahead for the next match against City in the future.

He said that Liverpool are a tight-knit group and a young group. Hopefully they will be here for many years and will be a better team in terms of maturity and experience next year. They don’t lose to anyone. Liverpool are a tight group and don't want to lose anyone. They will go into next season as strong as ever.

"Man City know, hopefully, we are here to stay. We know they are definitely here to stay, they are incredible.” Said Robertson.

Robertson’s comrade, the 27-years-old Liverpool’s centre-back, Virgil Van Dijk also feels that the teamwork and spirits of Liverpool as a whole club and the Reds supporters are the key of their success.

He said that they have to build the level they have during this season and the consistency. They also must try to do it again next season.

Van Djik added that there is a togetherness they have throughout the whole club. It is also the connection they have with the fans that helps them through tough, tough moments, through tough games. Personally, the support from fans is one of the big reasons he joined the Reds.

Man City successfully protected their Premier League champions title after winning over Brighton & Hove Albion 4-1 at Amex Stadium on Sunday (12/05/2019). Liverpool finished with 97 points while City had one point ahead.
