According to JR and private railway companies in the Tokyo metropolitan area, it is planned to operate as usual from the first train, but it has been decided to cancel the operation in some sections of JR. According to JR East, the Joban Line runs between Iwaki Station and Haranomachi Station in Fukushima Prefecture from around 2:00 pm on the 24th, and between Haranomachi Station and Sendai Station from around 6:00 pm on the 24th. It means to stop driving. In the Tohoku region, the number of trains will be reduced after the evening of the 24th on some sections such as the Tohoku Main Line. Private railway companies also say that train delays and suspensions may occur from the 24th to the 25th, and railway companies are calling for checking the latest operation status on their websites.

Due to the influence of Typhoon No. 12, the "Tokyo Bay Ferry" connecting Kurihama in Kanagawa Prefecture and Kanaya in Chiba Prefecture has decided to cancel from the first sail at 6:20 am on the 24th. It means that future operations will be decided based on the situation.
