Toddler in Malaysia becomes the first to recover from coronavirus

A toddler in Malaysia was announced to recover from coronavirus infection on Tuesday. The toddler hence became the first person in Malaysia to be healed from Wuhan's novel coronavirus. The Director-General of Malaysia’s Ministry of Health, Noor Hisham Abdullah, said that the patient had been tested negative twice for the 2019-nCoV.

The toddler is in good condition and had been allowed to come back home.

Previously, the Ministry stated that the four-year-old toddler was tested positive for the novel coronavirus after coming from China with her parents. They are allowed to return to China after obtaining the health certificate issued by the hospital in Langkawi.

Yesterday, in the United States (U.S), a 30-year-old man also recovered from the virus after receiving intensive treatment at Providence Regional Medical Center in Everett, Washington, having been admitted to the hospital since two weeks ago. While allowed to return home, the patient will be monitored by the Snohomish Health District.

The man, being anonymous, stated that he does not want to attract any attention.

Per Wednesday, at least 490 deaths were reported from all over the world due to the novel coronavirus from Wuhan, Hubei Province, Central China. In ground zero, 65 deaths were recorded with 3,887 new infection cases. Worldwide, the coronavirus has infected 24,324 people.
